Becoming a better blogger

by Robert Dobes | May 3rd, 2007

As you can see by the number of posts on this website I consider myself to be a beginner in the world of blogging. Also having English as my second language writing is not so easy for me but I learn as I go.

I follow these 3 steps to become a better blogger.

1. Learn different techniques and secrets of writing
2. Read other people’s blogs, hundreds of articles, books etc.
3. I keep writing. With every post I learn something new and gain more experience

I think the biggest obstacle I’ve had to overcome is confidence. Just to start writing on this blog took me several months. When I started, several days went by before I published a post. As I kept writing, my confidence increased. Writing and publishing a blog post takes me a lot less time now than it did several months ago.
It also helps me to follow other successful bloggers.

Top 5 blogs I follow on a daily bases

1. Copyblogger - I get a lot of writing tips right here. Brian Clark gives out tons of great copywriting tips for online marketing success
2. Seth Godin’s Blog - This is a blog of a well-known marketing guru, bestselling author and entrepreneur Seth Godin
3. Matt Cutts Blog - he works for the quality group in Google, specializing in search engine optimization issues. This blog is a must see for all SE marketers
4. Brendon Sinclair (Tailored Consulting) - author of the bestselling book “The Web Design Business Kit” and Australia’s Leading Internet Expert
5. ShoeMoney - Jeremy Schoemaker’s blog about skills to pay the bills.

Thoughts Aside:
The use of wireless internet service is mounting all over the world. This service is provided by many web hosting companies which are also providing large range of services along with web design services. Now, many universities are also offering web development courses due to its high demand. These university courses also provide helps about promotion of website through search engine optimization. This helps webmasters for raising their seo rankings. These hosting companies are also offering very efficient backup software to their customers.

    Hello

I can’t be bothered with anything these days, but shrug. I just don’t have anything to say recently.

    Bye
