I can’t believe it’s not Wordpress

Wordpress Interface for MT

Those of you who have been working with wordpress for quite some time I am sure you are familiar with the famous blue interface.
I am also sure there are as many of you working with other platforms as well. Like I, for example, manage my client’s website which is powered by Movable Type and I must admit I struggled with the interface for couple of days before I got used to it.

Can you imagine MT’s interface looking like Wordpress? I know you must be thinking I am out of my mind. Wordpress and Movable Type the two big rivals in the world of blogging platforms would never use the same interface.

As crazy as it sounds, thanks to Mark Carey, it is now possible. Mark made a movable type plugin which makes the MT’s interface look very, very wordpress like. Trust me, I couldn’t tell the difference.

For now it only works for creating and managing entries and comments but as Mark says more features could be added in the future.

If you are eager to experience it for yourself there’s a link to a demo site where you can see it working. I guarantee you’ll be blown away. Oh, by the way, you can download and use the plugin for free.
