How I Became a Web Designer Entrepreneur?
First of all, welcome to my blog.
My name is Robert Dobes. I am a 30 something years young web designer from Czech Republic now living together with my family in California US.
My career took off in 1994 when I started to work for an advertising company. I worked my way up to becoming a director of the company but I wasn’t really happy because I always wanted to have my own business. At the end of 1996 I opened my own business focused mainly on graphic design. Long story short, in 1998 I came to the US and in 1999 I began to explore the world of website design.
Now it’s 2008 and I still happily continue working as a web designer.
What is this blog about? Basically it is just a place for me to share with you my ideas, thoughts and experience in web design, entrepreneurship and everything else web related.
Anyway I hope you enjoy my posts on this blog and if you don’t … well, I wish you find other blogs you will like.
